Mr.
Ron Gosney's Response
Hi Malcolm
I need a bit of inspiration from you as I don't seem to able to turn up
much on this family name.
At St Botolphs Church there were 4 baptisms the same day of children of
George William and Louisa and he is described as a Founder [Glass Works]
of Wood Square:
14 Oct 1912 baptised were Thompson, James, Ernest and Elizabeth.
The thing
confusing me is there is a family in 1901 census who all say born in
Knottingley, though I have no baptisms. The 1901 entry living at Waggon
& Horses Yard reads:
Elizabeth Noble head marr 42 born Knottingley
Annie Mary Flower daug sing 24 born Knottingley
George William Flower son sing 22 born Knottingley a farm labourer
Tom Flower son sing 20 born Knottingley a farm labourer
Fred Flower son sing 18 born Knottingley a farm labourer
Hannah Flower daug sing 11 born Knottingley
John Flower son sing 9 born Knottingley
Ernest Flower G/son 2 born Knottingley
Annie Flower G/daug 3mth born Knottingley
So where does Emma Noble fit in ?
There is also another family at Headlands:
Thompson Flower
29 with his wife Minnie 28 and Percie aged 6.
Sorry to be so vague.
Kindest
Regards
Ron Gosney
