My family
originated from Knottingley/Brotherton. I am interested in any details
of the death by drowning of John Wild/e age 5 in 1840. He was my
great grandfather's brother. There was an inquest and he was buried
24/05/1840 at St. Edward's, Brotherton.
Does anyone know how I can find out details of the inquest? Is there
a local newspaper that might have carried the story?
