SMITH-JONES FAMILY HISTORY I am trying without much success to trace my mother's family tree. The names I am particularly looking for are Newby, and Smith-Jones. My great-grandfather was a John Smith Jones a tailor who was born in Brotherton, and his mother was an Eliza Jones who was I believe a schoolmistress in Brotherton.
