HALL / WOOD family history, KNOTTINGLEY

I am looking for any information on some of my ancestors. I have a marriage certificate for James Hall and Ann Wood who were married on March 15th 1857 and both lived Fishergate in Ferrybridge, but I am having trouble finding information about their fathers, John Hall who is listed as a cotton spinner and Benjamin Wood who is a waterman.
Unfortunately there are no ages on the certificate it just says full and James is listed as a Potter. If anyone can help I would be grateful
