I am not sure which order George or Louis were born in but both died in infancy. It is also possible that one of them was accidentally killed by a lorry.

At the time of their marriage Joseph lived at Bendles End, Knottingley and Elizabeth lived at Church Lane, Knottingley. At some time they moved to Farnhill Court as shown on a document dated 1934. They later moved in to 7 North View, Knottingley, which still remains in the family. Joseph died of Cardiac failure and acute pulmonary tuberculosis whilst at home with his sister Mrs S. Swales present. Elizabeth died in Wakefield County General Hospital whilst giving birth to James who also died.

Mary had a son called Jeffery who drowned aged 7 years in 1955

At the time of their first marriage Roy worked as a Fruit & Veg Delivery Driver and Dot worked as a tailoress. When they remarried Roy worked as a builders labourer and Dot worked as s supermarket assistant.
