In 1881 Elizabeth and Richard were living in Woods Square, Knottingley.  Ellen and John William from Elizabeth's first marriage were by this time known as Fairbairns.

By 1891 Elizabeth is described as a widow and is living at 127 Banks Lane Knottingley with John William & Joseph, both described as glasshouse labourers; William, Lillian and a new daughter Rose, age 7 and born in Huddersfield. Also living there is Joseph Fairbairns age 36, described as a grandson, born Knottingley, occupation boat labourer

John William Hall was my grandfather
