Hannah was the daughter of Thomas Sawyer (bap. 24/05/1812) and Elizabeth Sefton (bap. 14/05/1809) they were married 30/03/1834. Thomas parents were Francis and Milliard Sawyer. Elizabeth parents were John and Elizabeth Sefton, her siblings were Ann bap. 19/07/1807, Hannah bap. 8/9/05, Samuel bap. 1/9/1811, Mary bap. 06/05/1798, George bap. 01/12/1799, John bap. 14/12/1800 and David bap. 25/12/1803. Florence poss died Barnsley Sept 1881. The above is Thomas 2nd marriage. He was a Baker/Confectioner and by the 1891 census is living in Manchester. 6.

Samuel ASKAM b. c1886 By the time of his marriage in 1885 John was living on Calder Dale Rd, Wakefield. All the children were born in Sandal, Wakefield. He was a glassblower, and then a miner. In the 1901 census the family name is wrongly transcribed as Askham. 9. Albert Arthur ASKAM married Annie Eliza CHAPPELL in 1891 In 1891 census living in Headingley, Leeds. A bricklayer. |
