PRIVATE B. SIDEBOTTOM

Mr. George Sidebottom, of Barnsdale Terrace, Methley Junction, has received official notification that his son, Private B. Sidebottom, was killed in action on June the 6th, in Normandy.  He was only 18 years of age. Before joining H.M. Forces he was employed at the Yorkshire Copper works Ltd.
