KNOTTINGLEY SOLDIER RECEIVES B.E.M

CORPORAL P. GILLIAN

Corporal P. Gillian of the Royal Engineers, who, as reported in The Express a fortnight ago, has received the B.E.M.

Corporal Gillian is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Gillian of Low Green Knottingley, and his wife Miss D. Gott lives at number 2 Primrose Hill Knottingley.

Although he was on leave a month ago he did not mention the honour. His Father in Law Mr. G. Gott won the M.M in the last war.
