Knottingley Sparrow Castle, NUFC, Winners Medal, Competition 1911

It is believed that 'Sparrow Castle' was some kind of sports club situated on The Croft next to the United Reformed Church.
When boxer, Tommy Garner, was training for a fight he used to do his preparations there, sparring with Albert Adams, among others.
Does anyone recognise any of the players featured above or do you know how the name 'Sparrow Castle' originated?
The only player identified above is George Savage, back row, sixth from the left.
