The class that raised the most money on a sponsored walk around Beal, Birkin, West Haddlesey to Gateforth then back along Hillam Common, Birkin, Beal and home. We had the first day trip in the New School Bus to Flamigo Park Zoo and on to Scarborough .
Sadly Mr. Whiteley left soon after this photograph was taken and we got a Miss Cook, who all the lads took to straight away due to her good looks. Hope you will publish just the photo with names it may bring back a few memories for some people.
