Aire Street, Knottingley

This photograph of Aire Street, Knottingley, depicts the Aire Street Hotel (which stood at the top of the Flatts) on the right and Jimmy Hollingworth's Gents Outfitters on the left. Just by Jimmy's shop is a passage leading to the 'Rat Trap' and Back Lane, and then onto Primrose Hill. 
The building just past the passage was taken over by the Yorkshire Penny Bank some years later.
