The view from Ferrybridge station platform in 1959. The picture is unfortunately just out of focus as I was using a new camera at the time and was having a little trouble with the focusing scale. Ferrybridge 'A' power station, and the 'B' power station are visible in the background but the 'C' station had not then been built. The new Ferrybridge signalbox had recently been built and is seen down the line in front of the 'B' station; formerly it had been situated in the 'V' between the running lines in the picture of Ferrybridge Junction, alongside the coal train.
