'Dakky' Photographs

In a recent Digest magazine I made an appeal for any 'Dakky' photographs you might possess. As you may recall, during the 1930s, a travelling photographer known by the name of 'Dakky' resided in the town for a brief period and through his camera he documented the community life in Knottingley.

These are wonderful images which open up a whole new aspect of the town's past and are richly deserving of a place in our archives.
